Streusel Cake

1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk
1 egg

Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
2 TBSP melted butter

1) Preheat oven to 375. Grease 8x8 pan
2) Blend all ingredients and spread half the batter in pan.
3) Sprinkle half of the topping mix over batter already in pan.
4) Top with remaining batter, then sprinkle remaining topping mix on top of batter.
5) Bake 25-30 minutes
